Traveling Chica: Don't Blow Your Diet During A Road Trip

Like many of you I'll be hitting the road soon on a little road trip. Summer is the perfect time to discover what this beautiful country we call the US of A has to offer. I'm super excited, the only problem and thing that worries me are my eating habits. I'm the type of person that once I break my eating and exercise routine I tend to get crazy and eat everything in sight. So what to do?? Plan ahead....

I'm packing away some things that hopefully may also help you when getting ready for a long trip. If you have any suggestions send them my way.
Snacks:
*Make sure you have protein every 3 to 4 hours to [help you] stay alert and keep your energy levels steady. Again, I'm no expert but I'm packing protein bars and shakes in a mini fridge.

*Fruits and Veggies are our friend.

*No Fast Food Stops

I know I know..that fast food sign just makes the tummy rumble. Trust I know. Donuts are my besties but AVOID! Worst case there's a Subway somewhere.
*Water
I'm hooked on sparkling agua..lots of it is also key!
